Effective August 16, 2026
Weighly is built so your weight data stays yours. This policy explains what the app stores, what (if anything) leaves your device, and how to erase it.
Weigh-ins, goals, and milestones are stored locally on your iPhone and, if you use the watch app, on your Apple Watch. We do not run analytics, show ads, or sell data — to anyone, ever.
If you enable Health syncing, Weighly reads and writes weight samples using Apple's HealthKit with your permission. Health data is governed by Apple's own protections and never reaches our servers.
If you choose to share progress with friends or join challenges, Weighly creates a sharing account on our server (api.minorbits.com). Depending on the privacy level you pick per friend, we store and relay: your display name, an optional profile photo, progress percentages, and — only at the "Everything" level — your weights. Challenge standings only ever expose the percentage of body weight lost, never weights. All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS.
Linking with Sign in with Apple stores a pseudonymous Apple identifier so a subscription can follow you across devices. We never see your password, and we do not request your email.
Subscriptions and Weighly Pro are processed by Apple. We receive purchase receipts to unlock features — never your payment details.
Settings → Account → Delete Sharing Account permanently removes your account, friends, challenges, cheers, and photo from our servers, immediately. Local weigh-ins can be erased by deleting the app.
